Image Panning on Mouse Move – Actionscript 3 – Flash CS3
Since the Actionscript 2 version of this file was such a success we decided to create it in Actionscript 3. You can customize the movement speed, the direction and the movieclip that will be moving.

Hey, I guess this only works with images? What if I want to do this panning with movieclips? I’m not an actionscript professional so I don’t understand every bit of the code.. I want to do this with a big movie clip with buttons, that way you move the mouse around but you can also click. Can you help me?
@Agata Ventura, the code resizes a movieclip. You can put whatever you want inside the movieclip
