Scrollbar with easing – Actionscript 3 – Tweener – Flash CS3

Scrollbar with easing - Actionscript 3 - Tweener - Flash CS3

VIEW DEMO

A simple vertical scrollbar with easing. You can change the width and height of the visible area by simply changing the width or height of the shapes inside the “masker” and “scrolltrack” movieclips.

Easy to use, just copy and paste the movieclip into any Flash CS3 file.

Finally, inside the content movieclip you can add anything you wish (images, text, videos, shapes, etc).

Price: €4

With the scrollbar im looking to feed text information through xml rather then on the actual flv.file, is there anyway this can be done? any help will be very much appreciated.

Dave, all you have to do is:
1. Give an instance name to the scrollbox that is on the stage, (the movieclip on the first layer)
2. Add your content that you read from the xml file inside the content movieclip that is inside the scrollbox movieclip (the one that you previously gave an instance name).

Hi, I just started using the scroller, but I’m having trouble with a long text, when I paste the long text it only exports half of the text in the flash swf, what can I do to have a long text inside the scroller? thanks

@jck, It’s not the scroller’s fault. Flash has a limit on the height of textfields. You will have to break your text in two textfields
